They grabbed their cameras and snapped their pictures for the City of Pawtucket and The Camera Werks 28th Annual City of Pawtucket Photo Contest!
Twelve winning photos were selected by a panel of local professional photographers and will be placed in the 2027 City Calendar. Judges include Butch Adams, Christy Christopoulos, Peter Goldberg, Erik Gould and Aaron Usher.
This annual contest provides an opportunity to bring awareness to the daily life, historic locations and the ever-changing landscape of Pawtucket through the lens of a camera. The contest was open to residents and non-residents alike, but photos had to be taken in Pawtucket. These year’s contest theme was “Pawtucket On The Move”, submitted by David W. Neil of Pawtucket for this year’s photo theme.
Twelve winning photos will be used in the City of Pawtucket’s 2027 Calendar. The Mayor’s Choice Award receives a $100 cash prize. First Place receives a $75.00 cash prize. Second Place receives a $50.00 cash prize and other remaining winners will receive gift certificates.
