Milk prices rise: Mumbai rate hits Rs 102 per litre; Karnataka proposes Rs 8 hike for Nandini Milk

Milk prices have reached nearly Rs 100 per litre in Bhiwandi and Rs 102 in Mumbai amid rising cattle feed and fodder costs. Karnataka has proposed an Rs 8 hike in Nandini milk prices, taking blue-packet toned milk from Rs 46 to Rs 54 per litre, subject to Election Commission clearance.
