CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Election Day is less than two weeks ago, but many Stark County registered voters have already cast their ballots at the Board of Elections office.
As of Tuesday, 12,000 had already taken advantage of Early In-Person Voting.
In the next day or two, the total is expected to top the 13,821 early ballots cast in 2022.
Stark County Elections Director Susan Verble says about a thousand people a day are voting.
Absentee Voting may end up lower though.
21,000 ballots had been mailed out as of Tuesday.
Early In-Person Voting is expanding too, with Saturday hours 8 to 4 and extended hours next week, 7:30 to 7:30.
Election Day is Tuesday November 3,
